The Importance of Your Health Diary
Sir Robert Osler, often described as the “Father of Modern Medicine”, said: “Listen to your patient, he is telling you the diagnosis,” and, “He who studies medicine without books sails an uncharted sea, but he who studies medicine without patients does not go to sea at all.” Both of these emphasize the importance of a good history.
The muscle history of your patient is very important. It is the basis from which you will put together your Myotherapy treatment plan.
Since you don’t yet have a patient, you will begin by using your own history and later that of your fellow classmates to begin this part of the learning process. Take time to remember and record your own muscle history fully and in detail using the Health Diary.
After you have completed this Health Diary, please send or email it to us prior to attending the Level I program.
