Exercise for Babies?  Isn’t that carrying fitness a bit too far?  Not according to Bonnie Prudden.  Tests show that American children don’t meet minimum fitness standards and lag behind European children in physical ability.  Why?  Lack of exercise in the first new years of life.  It’s never too early to consider the effects of playpens, strollers, TV sets and automobile rides on physical fitness — as today’s out-of-shape parents are discovering in their thirties and forties.

In the completely revised, newly photographed, and fully updated total fitness program for the first six years, Bonnie Prudden- the fitness expert we all grew up with – provides a sound, sensible and enjoyable way to make sure our kids get an early start on a lifetime of exercise.  And it’s lots of fun!

  1. Ron Jones

Excellent resource and contrary to what people do today regarding “containing” children. Bonnie’s wisdom on creating healthy minds and bodies through invigorating and joyous movement is a timeless message that is even more important today than when she first published the book. This book and all of Bonnie’s books are golden for anyone wanting to enjoy life through movement whether young or old.
