Enid Whittaker, Managing Director
Certified Bonnie Prudden Master Myotherapist & Instructor
For 40 years I have been that most privileged of pupils……Bonnie Prudden was my mentor. Not only has this experience been an honor, but it has been lots of fun. Throughout the years as Associate Director I traveled extensively with Bonnie during her numerous book tours and helped her to present 1000s of fitness and Myotherapy workshops. When not on the road I taught at her school and implemented her programs locally for all age groups and abilities including pre-natal, babies, elementary school children, the elderly and the emotional and physically challenged. My background is in physical education and I have taught at all grade levels including university. At present, as Managing Director, Bonnie Prudden Myotherapy, Inc., I see Myotherapy patients, lecture and present workshops. Surrounded by 60+ years of Bonnie history, I continue to be mentored and inspired to spread Bonnie’s amazing abundance of practical, common sense fitness and pain erasure programs and wise insight to all who are listening.

I’ve been practicing and teaching Bonnie Prudden Myotherapy since 1985 and was fortunate enough to learn and work directly with Bonnie, Enid and Lori. In 1986 I became an instructor at the Bonnie Prudden school in Stockbridge, MA as well as a Myotherapy Workshop Instructor. In 1992, after our move to Tucson, AZ, I initiated and developed the Weekend Myotherapy Workshops for Health Practitioners.
Since 1998 I have been an approved provider of continuing education for NCBTMB, am Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork through NCBTMB, licensed as a Massage Therapist in Iowa and recently was honored to be inducted into the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame.
I continue to teach both Introductory and Advanced Workshops in Bonnie Prudden Myotherapy and am a member of the team responsible for developing the new training program.

I have had the privilege of working with Bonnie Prudden for over 40 years and since the beginning of Myotherapy in 1976. I practiced as a Certified Bonnie Prudden Myotherapist for over 25 years, and as Myotherapy became more widely used and doctors referred patients with more complicated problems, I developed a more detailed approach to Myotherapy, creating lines and techniques known as “Clean Outs” that are used in conjunction with the basic lines to locate and diffuse trigger points contributing to more stubborn pain. While teaching at the Bonnie Prudden School for Myotherapy and Physical Fitness, I had the unique opportunity of dissecting cadavers and studying with the Anatomy instructors from Albany Medical College in Albany NY. This provided a valuable understanding of the musculoskeletal system as it relates to Myotherapy and corrective movements.
I am a Master Instructor and developed the curriculum for Myotherapy for the Bonnie Prudden School for Myotherapy and Physical Fitness and continue to help reorganize and develop Myotherapy training programs to provide more accessible training and certification opportunities.
